About Me
My name is Marty McDevitt. I’m 35 years old, a husband and father of two, based in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
I am an amateur football goalkeeper who has spent the majority of my playing career representing clubs such as Tobermore United, Moyola Park, and Crumlin United. Like many players competing at this level, my journey has been shaped not by professional academies or contracts, but by dedication, consistency, and a genuine passion for the game.
Alongside football, I work full-time within the manufacturing industry — balancing career, family life, and competitive sport. Content creation began as a hobby, initially as a way to document my own performances and progression as a goalkeeper. Over time, it has grown into a platform that connects with millions of football fans worldwide.
My content focuses on authentic, grassroots football — highlighting the realities of amateur goalkeeping, the physical and mental challenges of the position, and the commitment required to compete while managing everyday responsibilities.
Everything you see here reflects real experiences from someone still living the journey week in, week out.
